Bali is a popular international
tourist destination, the demand by domestic tourists and foreign
tourists (international). In Bali itself there are many tourist areas
and attractions that have been known since ancient times (eg: Sanur,
Kuta, Ubud, Tanah Lot, Pura Besakih, Tampak Siring etc.) as well as area
and new attractions developed these past decades (for example: tourism
area Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Jati Luwih, Yeh panes, etc.). The more
attractive the tourist island of Bali, which is reflected by the number
of tourist visits tends to increase from year to year, as well as the
number of hotel rooms and also the number of restaurants grew, it This
indicates that the island of Bali increasingly 'exploits were' for
tourism activities. One thing that can not be lost in reality is the
concept of 'rwa-bineda', 'jele-melah', 'good-bad'. This concept also
applies to the world of tourism on the island of Bali. Both sides
provided by tourism activities on the island of Bali, was clearly shared
by all people of Bali, for example: Increased community living
standards, rapid development, Cultural Exchange, The decline of
unemployment. Both sides not contributed by tourism activities nor of
course was inevitable, such as environmental pollution (air, plastic
waste, water, soil, sound), lunturnya noble values ancestral cultural
heritage (commodification of culture, loss of'bali 'the people bali) and
the emergence of social problems (gambling, liquor, prostitution, etc.)
Of particular interest in order to maintain ke'ajegan' Bali, of course,
is the negative impact caused by tourism activities. By observing and
observe phenomena that arise, it would appear concerned about the
destruction of this beloved island of Bali, if the damage incurred is
not immediately addressed. This paper aims to examine the negative
issues arising from tourism activities. To be able to represent, then
these issues are classified into five categories of issues, namely: (i)
environmental issues, (ii) cultural issues, (iii) social issues, (iv)
health issues and (v) the issue of traffic congestion. All these issues
are observed in the three tourist attractions, namely the tourist (i)
Kuta, (ii) Bedugul, including lakes Buyan, Tamblingan Bratan and lakes,
and (iii) Sanur.
